Big congrats to Jackie Adams on 15 years of running Melodrama Boutique!
When we met Jackie, we were instantly inspired by her style and the way she gives back, not just to the community but to other designers as well. Jackie is a great mentor for all up and coming artists, that alone makes her stand out because most people wouldn't be as kind. We love how she empowers other women and supports local artists. She helps promote African American businesses by creating a platform for them to shine on. Just like Wednesday night, although the evening was about her celebrating 15 years in her company she gave out awards to the people who inspired her.
Jackie has impacted Cloth & Cord in a major way. She helped us create a relationship with customers that allowed them to get a closer look at our pieces to see the quality of our merchandise. Melodrama has become a place where local artists, entrepreneurs, fashion enthusiast and community leaders are able to come together to enjoy good company, create relationships and celebrate fashion.
Wednesday nights fashion show was amazing and Cloth & Cord was most definitely on the runway. I love how the models were styled in colors that made our pieces pop! All the designers, stylists and artists that came together to make this night phenomenal did an awesome job and I cant wait to celebrate many more years of fabulousness with Jackie and Melodrama Boutique.
